Royal Containers Statement on Coronavirus – COVID-19
As a Canadian company, Royal Containers has been closely monitoring the dynamic situation of COVID-19, along with the rest of the world.
First and foremost, the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and suppliers remain top of mind and our highest priority. We will continue to act diligently while we are
navigating this situation and will learn and adapt as new information is made available.
Our focus remains on two key priorities: Caring for the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and suppliers and playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and Health Canada as they work to contain the virus.
Royal Containers maintains business continuity and recovery plans. These plans provide uninterrupted service to our customers through our best-in-class procedures, people, and processes. We have implemented the necessary safeguards and redundancies and are ready to execute any additional steps, as the situation requires.
As we remain vigilant, we are continuously communicating to our employees about proper hand hygiene, staying home if unwell, and to seek medical attention if they have a sore throat coupled with a cough or fever. Our facilities management team has initiated additional cleaning and disinfecting of common areas while extra hand sanitizing stations have been added to both locations. One of our core values is “We Care“ and we hold fast to this value during this uncertain time.
We recognize that the COVID-19 situation is rapidly evolving and will provide updates through our avenues of communication as they become available. Royal Containers continues to be committed to providing Partnerships in Packaging while ensuring a safe, healthy and productive environment.
Yours truly,
Kim Nelson
President
